Each festival can cost up to $100 to enter. Others are cheaper. We will enter as many as we can with the funds we raise.

I doubt they’re making a lot of money off this, probably not even enough to cover the costs and time it took to make the doc. If this hits the film festival circuits it will take off and reach audiences far and wide. $1500 is measly for that kind of exposure but still a lot for those trying to get by after contributing a labor of love. I’ll chip in.
At some point the existing market will be exhausted, and the movie needs to get into the eyes of people outside of the choir. The filmmakers deserve a nice return. If we can get several more freedom fighters financially independent, that’s several more working full time toward liberty and happiness. Worth chipping in IMO.

must this come from donations?
Or do sales count as part of this?
